Nursing interventions in a patient with cardiogenic shock and postpartum syndrome.
Abstract
Cardiogenic shock is the greatest catastrophe of acute myocardial infarction and heart disease in general. It is defined as a state in which cardiac output is inefficient to perfuse and oxygenate the tissues, which is why it manifests with signs of tissue hypoperfusion and capillary congestion. Like the postpartum syndrome, it has a high incidence and has a great impact on morbidity and mortality. Both are health problems. Through the nursing care process, the necessary interventions for the care of a 73-year-old patient during his stay in the ICU and cardiopulmonary risk factors were identified and applied, prioritizing them based on the needs and clinical manifestations presented.
