Abstract
The use of pictographic reading can be a powerful neuroeducational tool to support the development of oral language in children, because through the use of images, they can learn to make associations between objects and words. Due to the growth of studies in this area, the present research was carried out with the purpose of studying the state of the art of the influence of pictography as a neuroeducational strategy in the development of oral language in early education children. We worked under the qualitative research paradigm with documentary review technique, which allowed us to conclude that pictographic reading represents an extraordinary neuro-educational tool for the development of oral language in early education children.
