Montessori method in infants with mild intellectual disability.
Abstract
The objective of the research was to demonstrate that the application of the activities of the Montessori method influences children with mild intellectual disabilities: cognitive and psychomotor aspect in the Educational Institutions of Initial Education of Pampas Tayacaja, Peru. The type of research was applied, pre-experimental design, and the sample was made up of three children with mild intellectual disabilities with non-probabilistic snowball sampling of case studies, and the McCarthy Test was used. It is concluded that the intervention of the Montessori method helps to improve cognitive and psychomotor skills in children with mild intellectual disability.
