Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has recently gained prominence, despite its origin in the 1940s with Alan Turing. In university education, AI offers opportunities such as personalization of learning and improved feedback, but it also poses challenges. UNESCO advises its educational incorporation with an interdisciplinary approach, ethical policies and equity. This study analyzes the impact of AI on learning in Carreras Uniandes Quevedo, exploring its use and management. A mixed methodology is used with field research, documentary, and techniques such as surveys and observation. The need for AI training is detected and workshops, ethical policies and changes in the learning model are proposed as solutions.
