Approaching happiness through neuroscience: contemporary views and practical utilities.
Abstract
The search for happiness is a common desire in humanity and a subject of interdisciplinary study that has been explored from different perspectives. In this article, the research of the phenomenon of happiness is approached from the field of neurosciences, with the aim of understanding the brain processes and neurobiological foundations associated with this emotional experience. In addition, practical strategies supported by scientific evidence are presented to promote happiness and emotional well-being from a neuroscience-based perspective.
