The role of strategic planning as a success factor in organizations
Abstract
Strategic Planning serves as a vital factor for the competitiveness of organizations, and in turn, implements sustainability for their permanence. The objective of this research is to determine the importance of strategic planning in companies in order to remain in the market. The methodology used has a qualitative approach through a documentary technique. It is concluded that strategic planning is a means that facilitates, guides, and accelerates the implementation and alignment of operational strategies and tactics to achieve short, medium and long-term objectives of a company, also contributing to proposing probable action scenarios in the future for decision making.
