In-depth study of the organizational structure of the fire department in the Municipal Government of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.
Abstract
The objective of this investigative work is to explain the organizational structure and how functions and responsibilities are assigned to achieve business objectives. Organizational structure is made up of three key elements: differentiation, integration, and standardization, and is a fundamental part of organizational design. The research focuses on analyzing the organizational, administrative, and operational structure of the Fire Department of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. A qualitative and quantitative descriptive and bibliographic approach was used to understand the functioning of this public entity. 10 employees, including a boss and 9 members, were interviewed to obtain information about the organizational structure within the entity.
