Monetary policy in the post-COVID-19 recovery in Mexico.
Abstract
Monetary policy plays a fundamental role in Mexico's economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. During the crisis, the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) implemented monetary policy measures, such as reducing interest rates and injecting liquidity, to mitigate negative impacts on the economy. Now, in the recovery phase, Banxico faces the challenge of balancing economic stimulus with inflation control. As the economy strengthens, Banxico is expected to gradually adjust its monetary policy. This process will be essential to support sustainable economic growth and guarantee financial stability in post-COVID-19 Mexico.
