Protection of the fundamental rights of children and adolescents in the face of violence and school harassment in educational establishments in Ecuador.

Abstract

The research focused on the problem of violence and bullying in the educational units of Ibarra and its impact on the constitutional rights of children and adolescents in Ecuador. A quantitative approach with a documentary-bibliographic research design was used to collect and analyze data from various sources such as scientific research, articles, and laws. A survey was used with closed questions, administered through digital tools, surveying legal professionals and individuals. The results revealed that despite state protection mechanisms and existing international and national instruments, challenges persist in the effective guarantee of the rights of children and adolescents in the context of school violence.
