Abstract

The work of entrepreneurs plays a vitally important role in the economic and social progress in Babahoyo; however, entrepreneurs face a set of challenges, among which extortion stands out. This crime represents a threat to the economic rights and financial stability of those who venture to conceive and sustain their companies. To efficiently address this problem, it is proposed to establish a bill that supports the safeguarding of the economic rights of Babahoyo entrepreneurs, allocating considerably more resources towards technological measures to control extortion, as well as strengthening the work of the National Police.
