Abstract

The central purpose of this research was to develop an efficient strategy to implement prevention and action protocols in cases of harassment and gender violence in Riobamba. An exhaustive analysis of Ecuadorian legislation and international human rights treaties was carried out, adopting a qualitative and descriptive approach, through the socio-legal and normativist method, from a dialectical and materialist perspective. Protocols were identified in institutions such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and the Prosecutor's Office. The need to unify these protocols in a joint work framework is emphasized to provide a coordinated and rapid response to victims of harassment and gender violence in Riobamba.
