Legal examination on the sexual abuse of minors in the canton of Tulcán.

Abstract

The central purpose of this research is to propose public policies aimed at preventing sexual abuse in the family within the Tulcán canton. The objective of these policies is to guarantee a safe and healthy environment for the growth of children and adolescents in their homes. To carry out this research, a quantitative methodology was used that involved the application of surveys. The results revealed a high number of complaints, largely attributable to the lack of information and follow-up in relation to the crime of sexual abuse in the domestic sphere.
