Abstract

Currently, a management model has been developed that seeks to ensure that both companies and institutions, both public and private, regulate their actions in accordance with regulatory and procedural standards, in order to prevent corruption. Unquestionably, corruption is one of the most significant problems that affects societies, with harmful consequences in both the public and private spheres, negatively impacting individual rights. Faced with this problem, the field of law must evolve and develop legal solutions that allow preventing and compensating for the damage caused by corruption. In this context, the concept of "compliance" emerges as an ideal mechanism to combat corruption in mentioned areas.
