Moderating effect of stakeholders on the factors to develop tourism activities.
Abstract
The study focuses on the development of tourism and the importance of the participation of various managers, highlighting the role of stakeholders. A questionnaire with 42 items grouped into five variables was used and 450 participants from the tourism sector in Tabasco, Mexico, were surveyed. A database was created and analyzed using IBM SPSS v. 25; In addition, a structural equation model was built with IBM SPSS Amos 26 to validate the model. The analysis identified five key factors for tourism development: tourism resources, accessibility, infrastructure, the community, and public policies. It was observed that stakeholders perceive these factors differently, suggesting an important moderating effect on tourism development.
