Knowledge of commercial regulations among entrepreneurs in Baquerizo Jimenez, Babahoyo canton, Ecuador.
Abstract
According to the most recent report from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Ecuador in 2019, it was revealed that approximately 15% of Ecuadorian adults are owners of established businesses, placing us in a prominent position globally in terms of entrepreneurship; a scenario that has been largely driven by inadequate decision-making in the economic and social spheres, which for several years has led many to consider migration or entrepreneurship as means of response. The economic crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the problem, resulting in a significant unemployment rate. The research is developed from that perspective.
