Protection of the human rights of the beneficiaries of the legal consultancy Uniandes Quevedo in times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abstract
This research focuses on protecting and defending the human rights of those with priority needs. This need for research arises from the state of emergency decreed by the Government during the pandemic, which restricted people's mobility. The study uses a mixed and longitudinal research design, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews in the field, which made it possible to identify complaints from users dissatisfied with the violation of their rights; In addition, guidance was provided to users in virtual consultations on measures to prevent violations of their fundamental rights.
