Critical exploration: The disconnection between public health policies and the Sustainable Development Goals in the framework of the Ecuador 2030 Agenda.
Abstract
This study addressed the inapplicability of public policies related to the right to health, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Ecuador 2030 Agenda. The research approach was qualitative with the application of inductive-deductive, analysis-synthesis and comparatives, to demonstrate the lack of adequacy of public policies through the review of legal and planning instruments. The persistence of health problems in Ecuador reveals the urgent need to implement mechanisms that guarantee the health of the population, evidencing the lack of effective application of state policies.
