Abstract

Regional development is the main instrument to change the environment of localities and communities in Mexico, creating favorable conditions for the population, contributing to the growth of the economy. The objective of this scientific article is to provide a detailed and updated overview of regional development in Mexico. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we will examine key aspects that include the economy and quality of life in the different regions of the country; In addition, the trends, challenges, and opportunities that Mexico faces in its quest to achieve equitable and sustainable development will be analyzed.
