Trends in Six Sigma (SS) education and training: a bibliometric analysis.
Abstract
This paper presents a bibliometric review of 1545 documents identified in Scopus database and dealing with Six Sigma (SS) teaching and training in countries worldwide. VOSviewer and Bibliometrix software are used to analyze the documents. The results indicate that research on SS is very extensive, however, the importance of SS education and its impact on industry and society still needs to be further analyzed. It is concluded that SS should be further analyzed to help companies face the global challenges they present and contribute positively to the economic and social aspect.
