The process of construction of conglomerates with dropout students from the bachelor's degree in Environmental Geology and Water Resources of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico.
Abstract
School dropout, understood as the premature and unplanned interruption of formal education, transcends the boundaries of the classroom, and has significant ramifications on the social and economic fabric. Its study from a multidisciplinary approach allows us to understand its complex factors. In the research, the statistical technique of cluster analysis (in English, cluster análisys) was used. It is distinguished by its ability to classify data in an unsupervised manner, a characteristic that allows exploring the internal structure of data and discovering natural groupings that can offer meaningful information. The technique is applied to 17 subjects who dropped out of the bachelor's degree in Environmental Geology and Water Resources; Furthermore, its development and the clusters obtained for analysis are presented.
