Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution, with its disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, hyperconnectivity and Big Data, requires that individuals use these tools to optimize production processes. This impact is reflected in education, where the need to adapt to this reality arises. Education 4.0, a response to this challenge, seeks to prepare students for a future work environment characterized by connectivity and technology. This study combines a bibliographic and field analysis to ev aluate the digital competencies of UNIANDES Software program teachers, using the Education 4.0 taxonomy as a framework of reference. The research includes the participation of students of the aforementioned career in the field study
