Abstract

Education is a challenge that requires new strategies to adapt to the profiles and skills of the new generations. Since the millennial generation, the rise of video games has increased. In this same order, the need to promote and strengthen alternative and critical thinking has been a pressing need for society, educational institutions and industry. In this project, the Minesweeper game has been developed in a web version adapted from the classic version. In this new web version, supported by information technologies, a friendly approach has been implemented to promote the education of alternative and critical thinking through a challenging environment
