Design and development of a system supported by information technologies from an educational perspective.

Abstract

Car rental businesses have been on the rise. Due to the increase in demand for this service, it is necessary to automate and streamline processes. Information technologies provide benefits for this purpose. This paper proposes the design and development of a system oriented to car rental, reservation and pick-up services from an educational perspective. The system is divided into three main modules which are composed of specific sub-functions to address the activities associated with the services. The following five tests have been performed on the system: Car Reservation, Customer Billing, Authentication, User Creation and Report Generation.
