Abstract

An analysis was made of the perception of students in online and blended modalities in relation to evaluation methods in virtual university environments at UNIANDES, Babahoyo. The sample consisted of 87 online students and 93 blended students, to whom structured questionnaires were applied. It was found that there is a positive level of satisfaction with these evaluation methods, preferring the online projects and reports, which was influenced by "available tools and technology" and an "adequate design of the evaluation". Direct relationships of low intensity were found between students' satisfaction, their perception of the effectiveness of online assessment methods and their academic performance.
