Study on the consumption of psychotropic drugs in students of the Kasama Educational Unit.
Abstract
This study focuses on identifying the psychosocial factors that contribute to the consumption of psychotropic substances in young people aged 14 to 17 years. Quantitative and non-experimental in nature, a population of 56 adolescents who meet the project criteria was formed, representing 100% of the studied group. It is concluded that various environments, such as school, family and social, present significant risks associated with consumption. The information analyzed suggests that the social environment exhibits a notable influence on drug consumption by adolescents, evidencing notable variation. This quantitative analysis highlights the relevance of addressing these factors in the prevention and treatment of substance use in youth.
