Abstract

The article analyzes the result of the application of instruments to address personality factors that contribute to poor academic performance in Pedagogy Bachelor's students, and emphasizes the role of higher education institutions in the training of individuals and their preparation for the demands of society; furthermore, the article highlights the need for standardized measures of academic performance in Mexico, since the current numerical system lacks certainty to evaluate the acquisition of significant knowledge.
