Abstract

Accounting plays an essential role in the fundamental analysis of investments, being an essential component in this process. This research focused on understanding the influence of accounting on fundamental analysis, with the purpose of establishing its advantages and its impact on investment decision-making. Explanatory documentary research was carried out, using analysis and synthesis methods, as well as a structuralist approach. A functionality model was developed to clearly visualize the process. The results obtained conclusively highlighted the benefits that accounting and accounting results bring to fundamental analysis, providing valuable information that influences effective investment decision making.
