Designing of a thermo-hydraulic device to promote sustainability
Abstract
The objective of this research was to design a thermo-hydraulic device to satisfy the need for water heating in a home through thermal phenomena. The methodology was quantitative. The design was non-experimental with an exploratory and descriptive approach. The results focused on analyzing heat transfer. A parabolic dish was considered to redirect solar rays and improve thermal efficiency. It was concluded that innovative technologies such as the insulated solar hot water tank, the integration of a parabolic dish, as well as using the albedo effect, offer a pragmatic and accessible solution towards sustainable development through solar energy
