Comparative analysis of economic behavior profiles in students of two disciplines in different universities of Ecuador
Abstract
The proposed research is aimed at verifying the influence of academic training on the economic behavior profiles of students. Two contrasting disciplines were selected: one with an administrative focus and another focused on the physical science of sound, without including subjects related to business economic decisions. The praxeological instrument used, the Human Action's Test (HAT Test), was applied to students of intermediate and higher levels in both disciplines. After analyzing and processing the profiles and subjecting them to a chi-square statistical test, the initial hypothesis was rejected, indicating that there are no significant differences in the economic profiles between both careers. This result suggests a lack of adequate influence on students' economic behavior
