Development of the online encyclopedia "Tourist Attractions of the Central, Inter -Andean and Andean Mountain Region of Ecuador".

Abstract

This investigative work focused on the creation of a Digital Encyclopedia that details the geographical and historical characteristics of the provinces of the Inter-Andean Region or Sierra del Ecuador. Its objective is to present the most relevant aspects, such as notable characters, typical dishes, community tourism and other cultural and tourist aspects. The methods used include inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic and historical-logical. The results were successful, culminating in the creation of the encyclopedia. This resource not only has academic but also tourist value, providing national and foreign travelers with a detailed guide to explore the beauty of Ecuador. This encyclopedia offers a detailed vision of the diversity and cultural and natural wealth of the region.
