Abstract

The analysis sought to identify the cultural and traditional values of the Salasaka people through an ethnographic study aimed at contributing to the development of the tourism, rural and community sectors. A qualitative methodology was used, with narrative and ethnographic techniques supported by a theoretical analysis based on relevant authors. Field research focused on ancestral festivities, using interviews validated by experts. The results underline the need to structure a detailed portfolio to contribute integrally to the recovery of the cultural value of ancestral festivities in the Salasaka people, fostering solid learning and promoting the preservation of the sense of belonging, the transmission and exchange of contextualized knowledge, establishing a harmonious relationship with the Salasaka culture and its ancestral festivities.
