The Supplementary Ex-officio Investigation and the principles of the Peruvian Criminal Process.

Abstract

The study used a qualitative approach and interviews with 9 legal experts, including judges, prosecutors, and lawyers. The results emphasize the urgency of regulating supplementary investigations to close gaps in tax information, guaranteeing exhaustive consideration before judicial decisions. The proposal seeks to modify article 346, paragraph 5 of the Criminal Procedure Code through a bill, seeking to improve the integrity of the judicial process.
