Hotel maids face precarious working conditions, so it is important to evaluate this phenomenon in detail. In order to understand the studies and address the problem worldwide, scientific research related to job insecurity, working conditions and the impact on the musculoskeletal health of hotel maids was systematically analyzed. This analysis covers studies carried out between 2012 and 2023 and published in the SCOPUS database. The results reveal significant problems, such as poor working conditions, lack of job security, high workloads, frequent musculoskeletal symptoms, lack of adequate training, sexual harassment victimization, and concerns about work equipment and uniforms
