Academic procrastination and consumption of internet content in normalist students.
Abstract
The objective of the research was to relate the levels of academic procrastination with the consumption of Internet content in normalist school students at the Plantel Navojoa Higher Normalist School. The study was developed under the quantitative paradigm, with a cross-sectional design and a correlational descriptive scope, with a sample of 130 students. The Academic Procrastination Scale and factor eight of the Skills in the use of technology part of the ICT Competencies instrument were applied. The SPSS V.25 program was used to process the data. The results showed that online games have a positive association with an increase in academic procrastination and a considerable decrease in academic self-regulation.
