Abstract

Clinical Simulation in conjunction with Problem-Based Learning are considered teaching-learning methods for strengthening and developing thinking skills such as establishing clinical judgments and clinical competencies. An intervention plan was designed based on the use of Clinical Simulators under Problem-Based Learning to promote the development of practical and thinking skills such as reflection, criticism and clinical judgment in Nursing. The intervention is comprised of six phases from the presentation of problematic cases to the motivation for their self-assessment. The combination of both methods favors the development of thinking skills and Nursing competencies for the care of people.
