Humanistic approach and educational policies in virtual education for the development of interpersonal skills.
Abstract
From the growth of universities in Mexico that integrate distance educational programs, the objective of analyzing the principles of the humanistic approach that influence educational policies, aimed at promoting the interpersonal skills of students in virtual learning environments, was born. The methodology used is qualitative, using case studies. The results reveal that teachers use the principles of the humanistic approach that are intertwined with Mexican educational policies by recognizing and prioritizing the need to place the student as the central axis of the educational process. An understanding is provided of how teachers integrate the humanistic approach in online education in order to improve student motivation and engagement.
