Business competencies: a bibliometric analysis of the literature.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the current state of publications on the topic of business competencies within the Scopus database. A bibliometric analysis was conducted, identifying a total of 357 publications from years 1973 to 2023. The findings indicate a significant interest within the scientific community, as there is a noticeable interest in the study of the topic within this brief period, according to the publications found in the study's theme. Additionally, the analysis provides clear evidence of the
evolution and various perspectives that have been addressed regarding business competencies up to the present day.
