Impact of the agricultural project on the economic income of producers in Dibulla, La Guajira, Colombia.
Abstract
The research evaluated the impact of the agricultural and livestock production project in Dibulla on the income of the benefited producers. Using a mixed methodology, surveys and interviews were conducted with producers and key actors at the national, regional and local levels. The data analysis, carried out with SPSS, revealed that 79.4% of the producers increased their income after the project and that 80.6% adapted improvements in their productive activities, indicating a significant positive impact. These results highlight the effectiveness of the project in improving the economic conditions of producers and underscore the need to implement integrated productive strategies. The research recommends replicating this model in similar regions to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life of rural producers, suggesting greater collaboration between governments and local communities.
