Abstract

The general purpose of the research was to develop a follow-up guide to adoption cases in Ecuador to evaluate the well-being of adopted children and adolescents from the perspective of human rights. The study was carried out within the framework of the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach, and through the search, compilation and critical analysis of documents, bibliographic references and research studies, an analysis of the information collected was carried out, which allowed the formulation of conclusions. A survey was carried out among 341 practicing lawyers, users of the Family, Children and Adolescents Unit, and the general public of the city of Ibarra.
