Commitment and identity of university professors from the perception of undergraduate students and professors of the National System of Researchers (SNI) at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS).
Abstract
The role of the teacher in the educational process has evolved from being a transmitter of knowledge to an agent of change, which leads to the identity and commitment of the teacher having a modular role in the success of the training of new professionals. The objective was to analyze the perception of university students about the commitment and identity of their teachers according to their performance in the classroom in order to construct a categorization. The results show that university teachers are classified into two large categories: teacher by chance/by chance and teacher committed to the professionalization of the student.
