Abstract

The objective of this essay is to analyze how formative feedback improves the teaching of mathematics in high school, through different techniques and strategies based on formative assessment that allow raising the level of knowledge in high school students. The process consisted of a literature review in databases such as Scielo, Google School and Redalyc where information was sought on the impact of feedback within the educational system. The importance of being able to apply feedback strategies that can help students make those conceptual leaps in their learning process is recognized, but in practice mathematics teachers do not use it because they are unaware of its theoretical and practical foundations.
