Implementing the New Mexican School (NMS) education policy: the framework in action.
Abstract
The implementation of an educational policy can positively or negatively affect an entire educational system. This article aims to analyze the implementation of the New Mexican School to examine whether the variables that, according to the framework in action, facilitate or hinder the implementation of an educational policy aimed at positive change in education were considered within the process. A content analysis was used for its development. The institutional documents of the 2019 educational reform were considered as sources. For the analysis, the dimensions of the framework in action model were used, focused on studying the intelligent design of policies, inclusive participation of stakeholders, enabling context, and coherent implementation strategy.
