Public policies for a culture of peace in Mexico: an analysis from management

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the management of a culture of peace in Mexico, from the perspective of public policies on crime prevention and citizen participation of the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System and those derived from the regulatory framework of the Ministry of Public Education, through interdisciplinarity, starting from an epistemological framework that allows addressing cultural manage ment from a peace oriented perspective, integrating key actors, including spatial, temporal and demographic aspects for the construction of a culture of peace that promotes changes oriented towards well being, equality, fair distribution of resources and t he security of people, among other aspects.
