Abstract

This article presents the evaluation of a web application for creating games that encourage the learning of programming logic. The objective of the games created is to move a character around a board using block-based programming to collect all the objects placed on the board. The web application was designed for two types of users: teachers, who can create games, specifying the layout of the boards; and students, who play the games, specifying the script to collect all the objects on the board. For the evaluation of the web application, evaluation instruments were designed for teachers and students, taking into account three aspects: aesthetic design, usability and functionality.
