Nursing cultural education circles: A teaching strategy.

Abstract

The objective of the article is to show the importance of cultural education, through education circles (CECE) from the training of future caregivers, whose function is not only to provide curative care to the population, but also preventive by promoting health, seeking to contribute to the epidemiological reduction of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure, at the same time that the nursing professional in primary care benefits economically and develops independent work with adherence to ethics, vocational commitment and application of knowledge based on nursing theories acquired in undergraduate and reinforced in postgraduate studies to improve the quality of care users.
