Content validation of a model to assess the quality of life in young university students.
Abstract
The objective of this study was to validate the content of a model to evaluate the quality of life in young university students, composed of seven dimensions, 19 criteria and 77 items. The validation was carried out with 13 experts, who evaluated the coherence, relevance, clarity and sufficiency of the model, using Fleiss's kappa coefficient to determine the degree of agreement between them. Based on the results of the validation by judges, adjustments were made to the structure of the initial model based on the modification of criteria and the improvement of items to ensure a more accurate and representative evaluation of the variables studied. As a result, in the second version a near-perfect concordance strength was achieved in each dimension.
