Experiences and daily life of caregivers of pediatric hemato-oncology patients at a public hospital in Sinaloa
Abstract
Cancer is one of the leading causes of mortality among children and adolescents worldwide. The objective of the research is to analyze the experiences and daily life of the parents of children diagnosed with hematological cancer in a public hospital in Culiacán, Sinaloa. The methodological approach is with a qualitative, phenomenological and descriptive approach. This allows us to reveal, through in-depth interviews and the constant comparison method, the experiences lived after the process of diagnosis and treatment of children with cancer, by describing out loud from the parents' daily lives the experiences after the process of accompaniment
