The prospective approach: qualitative factors that impact employee job satisfaction.
Abstract
Research was conducted to determine the qualitative factors that influence employee job satisfaction. A MICMAC (Multiplication-Cross-Impact Matrix Applied to a Classification) strategic foresight model was used through workshops and interviews with a panel of human resources and hotel management specialists. It was found that the qualitative factors that impact employee job satisfaction are related to their educational level, economic situation, work incentives, training, personal security, perspective regarding their work, and their level of education. This study will help human resources department leaders develop methods that encourage their employees to remain in a hotel company.
