Financial literacy and application of knowledge in the business environment.
Abstract
This research analyzes the knowledge, behaviors and attitudes that comprise the financial literacy index and its impact on the business management of microentrepreneurs in the commercial and services sectors through qualitative research of a descriptive and cross-sectional multiple case study type in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The results of the applied questionnaire indicate that microentrepreneurs with a high Financial Literacy Index present a high level of application of financial knowledge, promoting the use of financial market products, as well as efficient financial analysis and management within the business environment.
