“Planeta” recycling plant promotes the circular economy in Tabasco

Abstract

One of the main problems in the Mexican economy is the implementation of the circular economy, and to face this challenge, various environmental reforms and laws have been enacted. At the state level, in Tabasco, a recycling plant was built in collaboratio n with ALPLA and Coca Cola FEMSA, Mexican companies committed to the circular economy. This plant aims to promote the culture of recycling and the use of PET containers, contributing to the reduction of the environmental impact generated by said containers. The purpose is to promote environmental culture at both the state and generated by said containers.
